I suck I suck...

I suck I know I do, its been months, I have left y'all stranded. At least I ended on a high note, gettin the opportunity to see trey songz and fab. Plus my night ended pretty well, for some reason people thought I was someone important. I guess it pays to go to a club with 40 people you know and everytime girls look over it looks like you're talking to someone new.

Well am I not going to say hey Im back and ready to go hard on this blog, because honestly and truely, this semester (my second last semester) is killing me. Plus with pracitce a dude like me has limited time. But y'all don't care about all that plus for those reeeeeealll Dre Day followers you would of known what I was doing through my twitter (twitter.com/spacelysprokets).

And since another person is doing it as well who just so happens to be the opposite of me you get to see things or hear things from a different perspective. Caribana Weekend Recap....

Soooo Caribana was pretty interesting, the parade was aight. They tried to cage people like animals but like the savages people are they broke out spilled into the streets and began dancing with anything that had legs. All in all it was good here's a recap...

Saturday - Went to the parade then attended the Blame it on the alcohol, when it should of been blame it on the second hand smoke, I should of brought my gas mask but I didnt know if that went with the dress code.

Sunday - Went to Circa nightclub which was decieving because on the outside it looks like a factory. But inside it like a acid trip on mushrooms... Everything is interactive touch the bar it lights up, walk on the floor it looks like your stepping in puddles. The dance floor looked like a scene from "Stomp The Yard"

After being entertained by the club and its features, in walks Fabolous who I happened to be randomly standing by his security and didnt even think to myself why all these bodybuilder guys huddled around. After being shoved by the security I look closely and then walks in Fabolous, who is decptively small, like this guy is eye level to my nipples (pause).

Then the music starts he raps and and it stops and guess who comes out? Trey Songz singing his ass off, doing what he does best. He must have superpowers cause I look around the club and every girl has their eyes closed singing the lyrics off key as if they were trying to do their best william hung imitation.

I must add the women were beautiful I dont know if its them trying to impress the Americans but I forgot that the women of Toronto can put on for their city... I was pulling my best lines in an attempt to grab a number or two. (need I remind you Im as smooth as sand paper...)

Now its Monday and I am trying to recover from all this craziness I didnt walk through my door until 6 and now Im up writing this blog, thank god for long weekend.

Caribana... (Jump and Wave edition)

This weekend is the most anticipated weekends in all of toronto. Caribana weekend the one weekend where a person can be scantily cladded, dance, drink, and be a fool in the streets. It is also the only time of year where you see old men dance, grind, and feel up on what looks like 16 year old girls and noone bats an eye. (except me, one of the few who are aware of my surroundings out there).

Also one of the few weekends where americans and canadians can co-exisit, no scabbles no impersonaters (Canadians have the tendency to pretend they are American)So now Canadian girls have the authentic thing, and dont have to settle for the knock off imitation, I dont count because I have a social insurance number meaning Im damn near a citizen.

This weekend brings fourth the celebraties, you get everyone from the B-listers to A-listers. So this weekend we got Main-o, fine ass Amber Rose, just to name a few. Oooh performances will be heavy out here I am personally going to go see fabolous followed by the panty wetter himself Trey Songz this should be interesting.

And the most importantly besides the parade to with the hot 97 that always brings people out in their finest threads, gucci, LV, weave, nail done, fresh fades the works, some people go all out and try everything in their power to standout...

Overall this should be interesting I will keep you posted though...

New Jacket...

Sooooooooo for my summer job I got hired at Adidas, workin in the dungeon. Which just another word to describe the stock room. My job description entials for me to find the shoes on the shelves after locating the shoes or article of Adidas apperal I send it up to the ground floor. At the same time I stock an restock the shelves, doesnt sound hard. Well it wouldnt have been too hard to learn the numbering system of 100 shoes and 250 articles if there wasn't a sale....

Last week was the wrapping up of the Adidas summer blowout extrvaganza!!!! where everything was 50% off. Its like footlocker's 50 day but open to the world, everyone and there mom was trying to get stuff that were normally priced at 240 and coping it for 50% off.

But here is where the whole blog post comes together now. So the sale works for employees and on top of that I have a 30% discount already put that together thats 80!

I went a bought me a jacket they told me they couldnt do the whole 80 cause that would be insane but I got that for like 75% off.

Kinda Like A Big Deal...

Sooooo the real question is Dre what the heck have you been doing all this time? Well I can sum it up besides attending boring summer school, and working out, and get murdered in the ithaca summer league, (well I held it down average 28 and 12rebs in the 5 games or so I played, shoot I probably still lead the league.) Moving on I also did a bit of partying, well lets just say going out, cause partying would have to invovle having major amounts of as well as drinking and we all know we have to say no to alcohol.

So recently I went to Kinda Like A big Deal... Which was thrown on by the Entourage goons, and I must say that it was pretty entertaing, music selection was good its been a minute since I heard consistent dancehall, and its been a while since I have been to a party (whoops mean gathering) that wasnt a sasuagefest. Oooh and there was giveaways, shirts, fitteds and all that. Name the last event you went to where you could get a new era fitted and we all know how much of a fitted junkie I am...

Shout out to entourage for making it happen though watch out for their pending joint on August 29th... Won't be there but they will definitely hold me down...

Ok Ok Ok, Its been a minute but understand things have been rough. I came home to no internet. And now I have been subjected to steal the wireless from the coffeshop 15minutes away from my house. Real Recognize Real...

Here is the scenerio... Im minding my business at a party socializing, mingling doing what I do. And then some random guys come up to me and interrupt my conversation and begin to talk to me. I have no problem talking to people as long as they are interesting and arent wasting my time. Because no one likes having their time wasted. Anyways this one guy is here telling me how he used to play basketball and how he used to be great, actually he said he used to be the man and at that he could of played D1 basketball and maybe gone to the league. Then I look at him and was like for real? cause this guy kinda look like a cross between the Pilsbury doughboy and Kirby, so I know he wasnt playing any basketball anytime...

And that brings me to my point dont you hate it when people pump themselves up, or lead you to believe that they got it like that. Wellllllll real recognize real, and from having this conversation with him I knew he was lying, it was probably after he said he used to be able to do a 360 dunk and he weighed damn near 360 pounds...

Moral of the story is, dont lie to make yourself look good, because eventually you will get exposed...
